2016 International Space Camp, Republic of Korea

      On Sunday, July 17, 2016, five outstanding students from Paññāsāstra International School (PSIS) in Rocket building launching and Space, Vice-Principal and instructor were invited to participate in the 2016 International Space Camp Event organized by the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI), which was held in Deajeon and Seoul, Republic of Korea from 18-22 July 2016. The invited Vice-Principal was Mr. Bun Sophat, Vice-Principal for Operations and the instructor was Mr. Thorn Samoeur, while the students were Miss Khieng Chivyvatey, Mr. Ben Panhavan, Mr. Sopaul Ram, Mr. Thasoeun Sotheathun, and Mr. Cheam Chansomethea. The 2016 International Space Camp Event was held at Korea Aerospace Research Institute (Deajeon) and International Seoul Youth Hostel (Seoul) which has more than 60 students from 7 countries participated in the event and enjoyed the launch competition with rockets made by themselves. Rocket Event is an annual competition which aims to promote interests of youth to science. Moreover, it has been playing a very important role in providing such a great opportunity to educators and students to interact and share science education among one another, in particular, space science education. At the same time, the event also gives a chance for culture sharing and more.
